Did you remember? I'm so distressed that I didn't. I was sewing...working on the stock for the show next weekend in Charlotte. And never thought about the date or the event.
I could kick myself!
Nana Sadie's Place is a spot to curl up and think about things, practice crafts, enjoy new recipes, work hard to use smart health practices, and talk about life. Nana Sadie, after all, is grandmother to five, all with varying degrees of disability, as she herself deals with changing abilities that come with age. We have much good in the world and now we need to try to focus on it! Shall we make a pot of tea, pick up the crochet, and chat a bit?

So Excited!
Last year, I tried hard to participate in the Garden Along with Norma, but failed miserably ... we simply do not have enough light coming in and growing food in pots is less than ideal.
So this year, I jumped when I got notice that our local CSA was taking new members on a first-come, first-served basis. There wasn't a guarantee that I'd get in, so I didn't say anything.
But today, I got word that there was space for me, for a 1/2 share (all I can handle!). I also purchased a full share of herbs.
My schedule doesn't allow me to participate as a worker, but I'm delighted to know I'll have fresh vegies, and that they'll also be locally and organically grown.
Perfect!
